Last updated: 25 June 2026

Overview

Adelerate, operated by UM CARUJE DOO, respects your concerns about privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, share, and use personal data through our website (adelerate.com) and in the course of our sales, marketing, and platform activities. It describes the types of information we obtain, how it is used, our sharing practices, your rights, the safeguards we apply, and how to contact us with privacy questions. For personal data processed through our advertising-technology services, please also see our Ad-Tech Privacy Policy.

Data controller

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection (“Zakon o zaštiti podataka o ličnosti”), UM CARUJE DOO is the controller of personal data processed in connection with the Adelerate platform and this website.

Information we collect

We obtain personal data from various sources. Depending on your relationship with us, you may be a site visitor, a customer (publisher or content provider), or a consumer (an end user of one of our customers). The types of personal data we collect include:

  • contact information (name, company, email address, job title, telephone number, postal address);
  • billing and financial information (payment details and purchase history);
  • career-opportunity information you submit (résumé, work history, education);
  • location data (IP address, country, postal code) and, where you permit it, precise geolocation;
  • clickstream data and information about your online activity (IP address, device information, browsing patterns, content and ad interaction);
  • information you submit through “Contact Us” or similar features; and
  • other personal data you choose to provide through our online channels.

Providing personal data is voluntary. Declining to provide certain information may, however, limit your access to some products and services.

How we use information

We use personal data to:

  • provide and administer our services, including the use of AI and machine learning for ad serving, monetization, and analytics;
  • process payments and fulfil orders;
  • complete transactions and provide customer support;
  • communicate with you about your account and orders (registration, confirmations, renewals);
  • carry out marketing and sales activities, and administer events, programs, promotions, and surveys;
  • provide training, support, and consulting services;
  • manage recruitment and career opportunities;
  • operate, evaluate, and improve our business and perform data analytics;
  • verify identity and protect against fraud and other unlawful activity; and
  • comply with industry standards, contractual obligations, and applicable law.

We may anonymise or aggregate personal data for these and other purposes permitted by law. We rely on the following legal bases for processing: the performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering into one); our legitimate business interests; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Cookies and identity

The Adelerate platform integrates with identity solutions including ID5 and uses server-side cookie sync for auction demand. We and our partners also use cookies, web beacons (pixels, tags), and similar technologies on our online channels to collect information by automated means — including IP address and device identifiers, device type and operating system, language preferences, referring and exit pages, navigation paths, access times, and clickstream data. We use this information to deliver and measure ad selection, apply frequency capping, tailor and improve content, and produce reporting. Where consent is required, the platform respects the publisher’s consent-management framework.

We use third-party analytics and infrastructure services, including Google Analytics and Amazon Web Services. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through youronlinechoices.eu (EU) and aboutads.info / networkadvertising.org (US). We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

How we share information

We share personal data with:

  • service providers — for payment processing, hosting, data analysis, IT infrastructure, customer service, email delivery, and auditing, authorised only for the purposes necessary to perform those services;
  • customers and authorised third parties — to provide our services, with such use governed by the relevant third party’s own privacy policy;
  • corporate transactions — in connection with a reorganisation, merger, sale, joint venture, or other change to our business structure; and
  • compliance and protection — to comply with law, enforce our agreements, protect rights and safety, and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.

International data transfers

Personal data we collect may be transferred to and stored in countries where Adelerate and its service providers operate, which may have data-protection laws different from those of your country. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we apply appropriate safeguards, including data-transfer agreements based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses under Article 46 GDPR.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you; to request its correction, updating, or erasure; to request restriction of, or to object to, processing; to request data portability; and to withdraw any consent you have previously given. To exercise these rights, contact the data controller using the details below; we may need to verify your identity before responding. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (Poverenik za informacije od javnog značaja i zaštitu podataka o ličnosti) or with your local supervisory authority.

How we protect information

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unlawful or accidental destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, or access.

Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected (generally the duration of our relationship or your account), for applicable limitation periods, and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Children

Our online channels are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 15. If you believe a child may have provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision, and significant changes will be highlighted on our website. Please review this Policy periodically.
